Taeyang of BigBang Named for Honorary Ambassador for Pyeongchang Winter Olympics

Taeyang of BigBang has officially been named as an honorary ambassador for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
During the ceremony held at Seoul Press Center on June 21, Taeyang was announced to help create a song for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Lee Hee Beom, chairman of the Pyeongchang Olympics organizing committee stated, "I hope (Taeyang) will be able to put all the energy he has shown on stage into this campaign. I am also hoping that his musical, artistic ability will help the promotion of Pyeongchang Olympics globally." Taeyang commented, "I've learned that music unites the countries of different languages and culture.
