TAEYANG Claimed "'Darling' is not a breakup song"
K-pop boy group BIGBANG's TAEYANG claimed his new song 'Darling' is not a breakup song.

On August 16, TAEYANG shared his thoughts on his new album 'WHITE NIGHT' at his album press conference.

He talked about how there was a false report about his title track 'Darling' to be a breakup song with his lover and an actress Min Hyo-rin.

TAEYANG said, "'Darling' was created when I was working on the previous album, 'MADE'. But at the time the song didn't seem to fit well with the album. So I kept the song until I find the right album."

He continued, "Since Teddy and I kept the song for a long time, we didn't know what to do about it. But singer-songwriter Brian Lee came over to our studio and produced new melody and recreated the song 'Darling'."

He said, "My new song 'Darling' isn't a breakup song, in fact it's an extreme love song, especially if you have a romantic partner you will agree on the lyrics. Although I'm a bit scared about the hook, but the lyrics overall reveal a single message―only hope I have is you."
