TAEYANG's Successful Bid Over Paik Nam June's 'Stag'

The founder of 'video art', Korean American media artist Paik Nam June's artwork was displayed at TAEYANG's house.

On August 18, TAEYANG made an appearance in MBC's 'I Live Alone', and opened his house.
There were variety of art pieces displayed at his house, but Paik Nam June's art piece 'Stag' caught people's attention the most. 

Paik's 'Stag (1996)' is an animal-shaped video sculpture with three light bulbs and four television monitors, screening a repetitive video at the same time.

In last May, Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong held an auction for Paik Nam June's art work 'Stag'. It was reported to be sold for 4.6 million Hong Kong dollar, which is estimated to be 587,886 US Dollar.
Then later, people found out that TAEYANG was a successful bidder as he posted a picture of 'Stag' on his Instagram. 

Meanwhile, TAEYANG released his official third album 'WHITE NIGHT' in August 16, and has been actively promoting his album.
