Former K-pop girl group Wonder GIrls' member Sunmi made a comeback as a solo artist.
On August 22, Sunmi held a press showcase in Seoul ahead of her solo comeback with her special edition album 'Gashina'.
It is her first solo album since the disbandment of Wonder Girls and moving to MAKEUS Entertainment.
Sunmi said, "I was in JYP Entertainment for ten years, and leaving there was a difficult decision for me because I tend to get scared of unfamiliar environment. My personality also changed."
She continued, "But the reason why I chose to move to a new agency is because I wanted to experience new world with various perspectives. I also wanted to produce different style of music."
It was reported that 'Gashina' was produced by renowned producers including 'THEBLACKLABEL'.
