On August 26, Jackson received several comments on his Instagram asking "When are you leaving GOT7?"
After releasing his solo album 'Papillon', Jackson had been dealing with similar comments these days.

"Stop asking about me leaving GOT7, my lovely people. It's not even a question.
Homies ride forever, it's not about a contract, it's about a relationship, a friendship, on top of all, a true family."

Prior to this incident, Jackson shared his thoughts on negative comments about him leaving the group.
On a 'V Live' session aired back in July, he said, "Negative comments will only make me stronger. I will do my best as GOT7's Jackson and succeed."
Meanwhile, his solo single album 'Papillon' has been getting positive feedback on Chinese market.
