Screenwriter Kim Eun-sook Revealed that Gong Yoo Rejected Her Script the Most

Screenwriter of well-known Korean drama 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Goblin' revealed that actor Gong Yoo is the one who rejected her script the most.

On September 6, the screenwriter―Kim Eun-sook attended at an event hosted by KOCCA(Korea Creative Content Agency) in Seoul.

During the event, she frankly shared about her struggles of casting actors and actresses for her drama.

Kim said, "I always write the script after thinking of suitable actors first. I do get rejected(from the actors) a lot, but I don't have any feelings about that."

When one attendee asked about which actor/actress has rejected her offer the most, the screenwriter named Gong Yoo.Kim commented, "The actor who rejected me the most is Gong Yoo. However, I convinced him multiple times until he accepts the offer."The screenwriter also expressed her gratitude to Gong Yoo, who starred as the male lead character on one of her biggest hit drama 'Goblin'.
