Kang Ha-neul Shrouded in Dating Rumor with IU on the Day of Enlistment

On the day of military enlistment, Korean actor Kang Ha-neul was shrouded in dating rumor with a singer IU.

On September 11, on the day of his military enlistment, Kang Ha-neul's agency spoke up about dating rumors involving its actor Kang Ha-neul and IU that arose after they have met up.

Earlier on, a source revealed that Kang Ha-neul and IU have visited a cafe in Itaewon-dong, Seoul along with their friends. When a cafe's staff uploaded a picture of Kang Ha-neul and IU, dating rumor began to spread.

However, the actor's agency revealed, "Kang Ha-neul and IU are not in a relationship, they are just close friends who met as castmates in a drama called 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo'. Kang Ha-neul's family will be around when he heads to Nonsan for his military enlistment."
Meanwhile, Kang Ha-neul will be enlisting on September 11, today, and will be serving as a member of the military police for his 21 months of service. He will be riding motorcycles, and offer escort and protection services for persons of importance.

A source revealed, that Kang Ha-neul recently made an appearance on variety show and said he wanted to join military police after watching the movie 'Joint Security Area' (2000).
