IU dropped a new track to celebrate her 9th debut anniversary with her fans―known as UAENAs.
On September 18 at 7 AM KST, there was a surprise release of IU's newest track 'Fall Morning'.
Back on September 18 of 2008, IU made her debut stage with her song 'Mia' via M.Net's 'M!Countdown'.
To commemorate this special day together with her fans, she released 'Fall Morning' prior to her new album release this week.
The song 'Fall Morning' is originally written and sang by Yang Hee-eun, who is a legendary female folksinger of Korea.
IU also wrote a short message on her Instagram, saying "It has been 9 years since I've lived as IU. I am happy to be IU. UAENAs, start your day happier than anyone else by opening my special gift at 7 AM!"
Meanwhile, IU's new remake album 'Kkot-Galpi #2(Flower Bookmark Two)' is set to be released on September 22.
