YG Entertainment's CEO/producer Yang Hyun Suk revealed that a trainee from JYP Entertainment will be participating in his new TV program.
On September 19, YG Entertainment released a teaser video for upcoming reality competition program 'MIXNINE'.
The show will feature Yang Hyun Suk visiting various entertainment agencies to find talented trainees to grow as future stars.
In the released teaser video, producer Yang gave a detailed briefing of how the show will be and what the show is aiming for.
Yang Hyun Suk said, "Back in the days, YG did not consider visual as a crucial factor when choosing debut members. But on 'MIXNINE', I would like for the trainees to be handsome and pretty if possible."
He added, "Recently, Park Jin-young(JYP) confirmed to let a JYP trainee to attend the show. I'm also considering a YG trainee to join. I hope a trainee from S.M. will join as well."
If this happens, 'MIXNINE' will be a first-ever reality program which trainees from Korea's top 3 management agencies will compete together.
'MIXNINE' is scheduled to be on air starting from October 29.
