Namkoong Min Chosen to Host '2017 Busan One Asia Festival'

Korean actor Namkoong Min will host Asia's number one Hallyu festival called 'Busan One Asia Festival 2017' (BOF). 

On September 22, a source revealed actor Namkoong has been selected as to host 'Busan One Asia Festival 2017', hosted by Busan Metropolitan city.

As Namkoong Min has numerous MC experiences and has shown a broad spectrum of roles in films and dramas, many are raising expectation of him. 

Its event will help foreigners to get an in-depth understanding of Busan's culture and tourism infrastructure, and also Hallyu contents and Asian culture. 

Young people from all over the world will meet and share their knowledge about K-pop, Korean food, Korean beauty, and Korean culture in one place.

BOF will be held from October 22 through 31 in various places in Busan, including Busan Asiad Main Stadium, Busan Cinema Center and Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu.

Famous K-pop artists will make an appearance at the festival, which include APINK, ASTRO, B.A.P, GOT7, SF9, NU'EST W, MOMOLAND, BLACKPINK, iKON, GFRIEND, Wanna One, and many more. 

A source revealed, actress Kim So-hyun and music producer Brave Brother will also appear as presenters at its opening concert. 

Moreover, Korean singers Kim Jong-kook and Hong Kyung Min are chosen to host 'Park Concert', which will be held in Busan Citizens Park on October 29. Many K-pop artists will perform, such as Kim Tae Woo, Red Velvet, Baek Z Young, Bolbbalgan4, Jung Yong-hwa and many more.
