K-pop girl group BLACKPINK's ROSÉ majored in Law at Australian National University, but left school to become a YG Entertainment trainee and move to Korea. Girl's Days' Sojin majored in Mechanical Engineering at Yeungnam University, Daegu.
She was reportedly received 4-year full scholarship during her college years. K-pop boy group BIGBANG's G-DRAGON got accepted to Kyung Hee University with Post Modern Music major, but transferred to Gukje Cyber University's Department of Leisure Sport due to his busy schedule. CNBLUE's lead vocal Jung Yong-hwa majored in Chinese Studies at Kyung Hee Cyber University. Super Junior's HeeChul majored in Tourism English Interpretation and Translation at Sangji Youngseo College, to improve his English-speaking skills. Lastly, former K-pop girl group 2NE1 member Minzy is currently majoring in Theology at Baekseok University.
She also unveiled her wish to become a pastor in the future, through her column written on the college newspaper.
