Kim Soo Hyun to Enlist in Military Next Month

Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun announced his official military enlistment date.

On September 28, Kim Soo Hyun's management agency KeyEast Entertainment released an official statement regarding the actor's enlistment.

The agency stated, "Kim Soo Hyun will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier on October 23.

As Kim Soo Hyun wishes to fulfill his duties as a Korean citizen, he decided to enlist quietly without any press conference or farewell events with his fans."

The agency added, "After his 5-week basic military training at the boot camp, Kim Soo Hyun will serve the military duty for 21 months."
Kim Soo Hyun debuted back in 2007 with MBC's 'Kimchi Cheese Smile', and has gained a lot of popularity throughout Asia with SBS' 'My Love From Another Star'.
