Farewell Kim Soo Hyun, See You in 2019!

Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun sent a greeting to his fans on the day of military enlistment. 

On October 23, Kim Soo Hyun wrote a short letter to his fans on his social media account.
He wrote, "Hello. This is Kim Soo Hyun. I would like to say goodbye before I enlist in the military. Thank you for those of you who've always supported me. I'll make sure I maintain my health condition while I'm there. I hope everyone stays well. Goodbye." 

Even on the day of military enlistment, Kim Soo Hyun wanted a 'closed-enlistment', or quietly enlist in the army, as it is every Korean man's military obligation. Information regarding his military enlistment was kept private until today. 
Kim Soo Hyun is set to enter the recruit training center which is located in Paju, Gyeonggi-do and will receive basic military training for five weeks. 

According to Kim Soo Hyun's management agency, the actor will not hold any goodbye events or press conferences regarding his military enlistment. 

The night before his military enlistment, Kim Soo Hyun was spotted at a bowling alley, as his hobby is playing bowling.

Earlier in 2012 after getting his physical examination done at the Military Manpower Administration, Kim Soo Hyun received class four. But after receiving rehabilitation treatment and through reexamination, he was able to receive an entry to serve as active-duty soldier. 

Kim Soo Hyun is set to be discharged from the military on July 22, 2019.
