K-pop boy group Super Junior Choi Siwon's family is charged with 50,000 won (44 dollars) civil fine.
Recently, a restaurant owner died after getting attacked by Choi Siwon's off-leash family dog named Bugsy at an apartment.
On October 25, the Gangnam District Office announced that it had submitted a fine notice of 50,000 won (about 44 dollars) to Choi Siwon's family for an off-leash pet.
The relevant source revealed, "The fine is due to not having a leash on their dog outdoors."
According to the source, the Gangnam District Office was able to request fine for Choi's family by seeing various press reports of Choi Siwon's pet Bugsy without a leash outdoors numerous times.
Previously, Choi Siwon apologized for the incident and the family of deceased restaurant owner accepted his sincere apology. The victim's family also said that they will not pursue any legal action.
Until today, the specific details regarding the victim's infection route has not been revealed.
