'Army Trainee' Kim Soo Hyun's New Imposing Look Revealed

A photo of Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun, who is currently an army trainee was unveiled.

On October 29, actor Kim's photo was unveiled via an official blog of Advance Recruit Training Battalion. In the picture, actor Kim was seen standing in front of Korean national flag, with an imposing look.

The photo revealed actor Kim's short buzz cut hairstyle. As he enlisted in the army privately, without showing himself to media or his fans, his unusual new hairstyle has garnered many fans' attention.

After seeing his photo, fans commented, "Although his hair is very short, he's still good-looking", "Please be safe", and "Now that he's wearing a military uniform, he looks like a soldier now." 

Kim Soo Hyun was enlisted in the army on October 23 in Gyeonggi-do province. He will spend 5 weeks in basic training camp and will return as an active-duty soldier. 

Earlier in 2012, actor Kim was actually deemed unfit to serve in the army due to the heart-related condition that he had since he was young. However, instead of giving up, he received rehabilitation treatment. Through re-examination, he was able to receive an entry to serve as an active-duty soldier. 

Kim Soo Hyun is set to be discharged from the military on July 22, 2019.
