Suzy, Yu Jae Seok to Become Torchbearers for the Winter Olympics!

Korean singer/actress Suzy and TV entertainer Yu Jae Seok joined the official torch relay for the '2018 PyeongChang Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games'.

On November 2, the torch arrived in Korea from Greece through Incheon International Airport.

Following professional figure skater You Young, Yu Jae Seok took the torch and passed it to Park Myung-soo, Suzy, Haha, Jung Junha and Yang Se-hyung.
Except for Suzy, rest of the celebrity torchbearers are the members of MBC's long-time variety show 'Infinity Challenge'.

As 'Infinity Challenge' stopped filming due to the ongoing strike at MBC, Yu Jae Seok commented, "It's good to meet the members altogether for the first time in a while."
He added, "It(participating in the torch relay) is an honor to my family. It is certainly not even a once in a lifetime event. I'm hoping everyone to enjoy the upcoming Olympics."
On the same day, Suzy shared her photos taken during the torch relay on her personal Instagram account.

Meanwhile, the torch will take its 100-day journey across the nation until the Olympics' opening ceremony on February 9, 2018.

The flame will travel to 9 different provinces and 8 major cities in South Korea with a total of 7,500 torchbearers.
