K-pop boy group BTS is invited to perform at the 45th American Music Awards (AMAs).
On November 3, The American Music Awards announced that BTS will premiere the first stateside performance of its hit single 'DNA' on November 19 via Facebook.
On the day of the American Music Awards ceremony, BTS' performance will be broadcasted via ABC channel live, all across the United States.
The American Music Awards is one of the three major American music award shows, along with Billboard Music Award and Grammy Music Award.
It is the second time for a Korean artist to perform at AMAs. In 2012, Korean singer PSY performed with high-energy at 2012 American Music Awards and earned New Media award.
After the AMAs' announcement, numerous foreign press including American business magazine Forbes reported, "The announcement comes after months of growing interest in BTS, the only Korean group to ever break into the Top10 on the Billboard 200 album chart."
BTS previously won the Top Social Artist award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards in May.
Meanwhile, BTS successfully held its concert 'THE WINGS TOUR 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III' in Macao on November 4.
