EXO's SUHO, Unofficial Ambassador for the Winter Olympics?
Nov 13, 2017
K-pop boy group EXO's leader SUHO has been involuntarily promoting the upcoming 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics!
Recently, SUHO was spotted wearing a white tiger costume at his management agency's annual Halloween party.
The white tiger's name is 'Soohorang', the official mascot of the '2018 PyeongChang Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games'.
As the tiger's name is similar to SUHO's name, SUHO has been promoting the Olympics even though he is not an official ambassador for the event.
SUHO made multiple appearances with Soohorang on various concerts including 2017 DREAM CONCERT and 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics G-100 Torch Relay K-pop Concert.
SUHO even reportedly asked the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics Organizing Committee to let him borrow the Soohorang costume for the Halloween party.
A source revealed, "SUHO was the one who came up with the idea to wear Soohorang costume. The organizing committee let SUHO to borrow the official costume, as they saw SUHO's sincerity and willingness."
Meanwhile, the '2018 PyeongChang Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games' will take place throughout Gangwon-do province on February 9 to 25, 2018.
