Kangin Accused of Beating His Girlfriend While Drunk

K-pop boy group Super Junior's Kangin allegedly beaten his girlfriend today, while he was drunk.

The Gangnam Police dispatched to the site upon a citizen's report that "Kangin who's drunk is beating his girlfriend." on November 17, around 4:30 AM KST, at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul.

However, as the victim―who claims to be his girlfriend did not want any disciplinary actions taken, Kangin was released on a warning after he was separated from the victim. 

In 2009, Kangin was charged with drunk assault incident. But at that time Kangin denied accusation and said, "I was in an argument, but I didn't hit anyone."

Last year, Kangin was charged with DUI(driving under the influence) two times and was sentenced to a fine. 

His group Super Junior made a comeback with 'Black Suit' beginning of this month, but Kangin did not participate in group's promotions due to his DUI cases.
