VIDEO: Guess How BTS' Leader RM Learned English

K-pop boy group BTS' appearance in the popular American TV program is going viral.

On November 27, BTS made the guest appearance at the famous NBC's talk show program 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and did a candid interview. 

Ellen, the host, asked RM how did he learn English and RM responded, "My English teacher was 'Friends'" 
 
Then RM continued, "Back in the days when I was fifteen or fourteen, it was quite like a syndrome all the Korean parents to make their kids watch 'Friends'. So I kind of felt like a victim at the time. But right now I'm the lucky one." 

He also said how he's thankful for his mother. 
He added, "Thanks to my mother, she brought all seasons' DVDs. So firstly, I watched with the Korean subtitle, then with English subtitle, and I just removed it." 

BTS' leader RM has been promoting his group in the stateside with his fluent English skills. Including '2017 American Music Awards', he has done acceptance speeches, interviews with the various press in English on behalf of his group. 
On the day of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', BTS performed live to its recent hit song 'MIC Drop' which was listed as No.1 on iTunes' 'Pop Song Chart' bringing an explosive cheer from the fans. 
 
BTS is first Asian musician to perform at the '2017 American Music Awards', make an appearance on CBS and ABC's popular talk show programs.

BTS expects to hold concert '2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE Ⅲ THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL' from December 8-10, at Gocheok SkyDome in Seoul.
