Red Velvet, First K-pop Girl Group to Top Billboards 4 Times!
K-pop girl group Red Velvet became the first K-pop girl group to get 4 #1s on Billboard's World Albums Chart!
Red VelvetOn November 28, Billboard announced that Red Velvet's recent release 'Perfect Velvet' has landed at the top of its World Albums Chart.

This marks Red Velvet's 4th #1 on the chart with their album releases. 
Red VelvetRed Velvet took its first #1 on the chart with their first official full album 'The Red' in 2015.

In 2017, the group landed #1 with 'Rookie' in February, 'The Red Summer' in July, and 'Perfect Velvet' in November.

It is the first K-pop girl group ever to top the Billboard's World Albums Chart 4 times.

Currently, K-pop boy group BTS, GOT7 and B.A.P hold the 4-time record.
