Korean actor Yoo Ah-in gave an admonition to the psychiatrist who publicly diagnosed him with hypomania.
On November 30, Yoo Ah-in wrote a long post on his Instagram regarding the issue.
He wrote, "Group suppresses an opposing individual through the censorship of ideology, and psychiatrist who should deeply approach to one's mind conspires and censor the human mind with an improper intention. Everyone, take a careful look on how the violent actions of an arrogant, evil group are being judged. Get a life, you fool."
The actor also left a short note to the press and media that delivered the news.
He continued, "Also, I hope the press not to participate in this 'murder of personality' by spreading those low-class commentaries. [...] Go spread this post instead. I believe that the media still know how to distinguish between 'normal' and 'abnormal', and 'rationality' and 'irrationality' [...]"
Earlier on November 28, a psychiatrist named Kim Hyun-chul commented on Yoo Ah-in's mental health.
He diagnosed the actor "high chance of acute hypomania", and commented, "symptoms will likely be worsened in February of next year".
