Hollywood Picks 3 Stars, Even Marvel Studios Contacted Him!

Hollywood is no longer a dream stage for Korean stars.

As Korean film industry has expanded, Korean stars are now slowly debuting in the Hollywoods.

There are three Korean stars who have recently received offers to star in the Hollywood films―they are Ma Dong Seok, Ha Jung Woo, and Gang Dong Won.
For actor Ma, ever since he made a debut in last year's hit movie 'Train to Busan' as a supporting actor, he has received offers from Hollywood's Marvel Studios. 

Last May, actor Ma was promoted at Cannes Film Festival. Since then he got much attention from Hollywood production teams who produces famous superhero movies like 'Iron Man' and 'The Avengers'.
A similar situation goes for Ha Jung Woo. Last year the production team from blockbuster movies even negotiated his guarantee fee. As he has great ticket power(box office hit) in Korea, Hollywood has shown great attention to actor Ha. However, it was canceled at the time he was scouted to shoot a movie in Korea 'Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds'. As the time overlapped, actor Ha had to refuse his opportunity to enter into movie industry in the stateside. 
Actor Ha expressed a few words regarding the matter. He said, "I'm not regretful of my choice. Maybe just a little. But I believe chance will come again."

There's also Gang Dong Won, who is quietly preparing to enter into the Hollywood. This May, actor Gang attended Cannes Film Festival and met with overseas movie production staffs.

Since two years ago, he revealed that he wants to work in the States and Japan. Many speculated actor Gang is preparing to enter into the bigger stage. He was under the spotlight last year as he traveled to the States and met with movie production team. 
It was told that the three actors are highly likely to make their debut in the States soon, as they all have high levels of English proficiency. Actor Ma Dong Seok moved to the States when he was a highschooler, thus he can speak English like a native speaker. Actor Ha Jung Woo and Gang Dong Won can also speak English well.
