Former K-pop girl group SISTAR's member SOYOU talked about working as a solo artist.
On December 13, SOYOU made appearance at MBC's 'Radio Star' and talked about her group's disbandment.
She said, "Our group SISTAR is disbanded. Only DASOM and I are left with the management agency. Working alone is hard and tiring."
She continued, "Before other members did things that I don't do, and I did things that other members didn't do. I need to get confirmed by the agency for everything. It's very lonely."
She also admired other solo artists, she said, "Now I think solo artists are just incredible."
When the s hosts asked her about the reason behind staying in the previous entertainment, SOYOU responded, "I was lazy. I'm not the sensitive type but I can't say 'Please do this for me, I don't like that.' We can get along well. I don't need to tell what I need."
Then she sarcastically added, "If other management agencies gave me good offers, I probably have moved there." and brought laughter to the set.
On December 13, SOYOU released her first solo album 'SOYOU THE 1st SOLO ALBUM PART.1 RE:BORN' along with her title track 'The Night'.
