Kim Jong-kook Covers All Tuition for His Brother's Medical School

It has been revealed that Korean singer Kim Jong-kook has financially supported his brother throughout medical school.

On April 22, SBS' variety show 'My Little Old Boy' aired an episode in which Kim Jong-kook spending time with his brother Kim Jong-myung, who works as a plastic surgeon.After this episode was aired, Kim Jong-kook's kindhearted gesture that he showed towards his brother in the past has once again come under the spotlight.

It is widely known that Kim Jong-kook is stingy, who does not carelessly spend money.

He even said that he replaces his toothbrush only when there is something seriously wrong with it, even if it is completely worn out that the bristles start to fall out.However, he said on 'My Little Old Boy', "I like spending my money on others though. I like buying things for people around me, but I just can't use my money on myself."

Then, one of the hosts Shin Dong-yup made a statement that surprised everyone on the show, "Kim Jong-kook has paid all tuition for his brother's medical school as well."Kim Jong-kook said, "My brother was in medical school for about seven years, including the period when he was a resident. I paid for his education."

As medical schools are known to be overly expensive, many people have been commenting on his good deed.
