SBS to Produce Vietnamese Version of 'Running Man'!

SBS' hit variety show 'Running Man' is heading to Vietnam. On April 23, it was reported that SBS will be partnering with Vietnamese investment company Madison Group to produce 4 new TV shows in Vietnam, including Vietnamese spin-off version of 'Running Man'. SBS will be investing 5 million dollars for the project, and the production staffs of the original 'Running Man' will be participating in the creation of the Vietnamese version. The project's executive manager Ha Seung-bo stated, "We will make 'Running Man', one of the most popular contents in Asia, into a show that is suitable to the local viewers."
The manager also emphasized, "We are hoping to stimulate more cultural exchanges between the two countries (Korea and Vietnam) through our show ('Running Man')." SBS has previously made Chinese spin-off 'Running Man' in 2014, and the show marked the highest viewership ratings achieved by a variety show in China.
