Park Hae Jin Makes an Honorary Citizen of Fanshan District for His Good Deed
Fanshan District in China awarded Korean actor Park Hae Jin honorary citizenship for making efforts to better the environment.

On April 24, Park Hae Jin became the first Korean star to be awarded honorary citizenship in China for making efforts to improve the environment.Park Hae JinPark Hae JinLast month, Park Hae Jin donated 20,000 trees to the district to improve the ultra-fine dust issue.

Fangshan District is situated about 38km away from downtown Beijing, and it is where China has recently announced a government policy that states the area will be made into a forest area to prevent the rising issue of ultra-fine dust in the air.Park Hae JinDespite Park Hae Jin's busy schedule, the actor insisted on helping out planting the trees himself.

Park Hae Jin worked hard to plant trees along with about 30 of his fans.Park Hae JinAs a result of all this, Fangshan District awarded honorary citizenship to Park Hae Jin on April 24.

Park Hae Jin said, "I feel honored and grateful to be granted honorary citizenship. I hope these trees will help everyone, and I will do this more often in the future."
