BTS' New Album Breaks the Group's Pre-sales Record!

K-pop boy group BTS has set the group's new pre-sales record with its third full album 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear'.

According to IRIVER, the distributor of BTS' upcoming album, the pre-order of 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear' has reached a total of 1,449,287 as of April 24, since they started taking pre-orders on April 18.This figure shows the total number of pre-orders made by domestic wholesale dealers and retailers, and does not include international pre-orders.

BTS has surpassed its previous record of the highest number of pre-orders almost by 400,000.

The group's last album 'LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her' released last September, recorded over 1.1 million pre-orders.Recently, BTS also topped Amazon's 'Best Sellers in CDs & Vinyl' after the online retailer began to take pre-orders, and it continues to be on the best-selling list as of April 24.

BTS is expected to release 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear' on May 18, and will unveil its new songs at this year's 'Billboard Music Awards' on May 20.
