Lee Seo Won Remains Silent About His Charge of Sexually Harassing and Threatening a Colleague

Korean actor Lee Seo Won has made his first public appearance after he was charged for sexually harassing and threatening a female celebrity recently.

On May 24, Lee Seo Won headed to the Prosecutors' Office for questioning wearing a black clothing and baseball cap.Previously on April 8, Lee Seo Won was arrested after allegedly trying to make a physical contact with a female celebrity at a private event, and threatening her with a knife when she refused.

The police revealed that the actor was very drunk, and used offensive language at the police station as well.

In the beginning of this month, the police have forwarded Lee Seo Won's case to prosecutors.

After the case was exposed via media reports last week, Lee Seo Won's management agency Blossom Entertainment apologized and said that the actor recognized his wrong action.

Following that, the actor was removed from KBS' music show 'Music Bank' as a host, and tvN's drama 'About Time' as a cast.In the afternoon of May 24, Lee Seo Won was summoned by the prosecution as a suspect for questioning.

When celebrities are called in for questioning, they would usually stand in front of camera and briefly say a few words before heading inside.

However, Lee Seo Won remained silent to questions by reporters regarding the case, such as whether if he admits the charge, apologized to the victim, and so on.

He also headed straight inside ignoring photojournalists who asked him for some photos at the spot that was there especially for photo taking.It seems as though Lee Seo Won will continue to stay silent without a single apology, like he has done for the past month when he continued with his activities on social media and appeared on television as if nothing had happened.
