Jung Hae In Answers Questions About Happiness, Love, and Haters
Korean actor Jung Hae In's latest romance drama―JTBC 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food' was a massive success, where he made every noona (a Korean term used to refer to an older girl) on the planet fall in love with his charming character 'Seo Joon-hee'.

Recently, Jung Hae In sat down for an interview and honestly talked about himself.Jung Hae InQ. When do you feel happy?
A. Small things make me happy, such as when I drink some beer after taking a shower at the end of a busy day, when I have some barbecue with my friends, and things like that. I believe if you are unhappy today, then you will also be unhappy tomorrow. So, I like to be that guy who spends a day smiling. I always think to myself in the morning, "Let's be thankful and happy today." In fact, I'm feeling happy right now. Through this interview, my words will be delivered to countless number of people. How grateful is that? I write a diary on my phone every day, and these days, it's filled with words that describe how happy and grateful I am.Jung Hae InQ. Everything was about love for 'Seo Joon-hee'. How about you?
A. It is kind of the same for me as well, but 'Seo Joon-hee' is a guy who puts everything into love without thinking about himself. I'm not too sure if I can be like that. While filming 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food', I was able to learn what true love is, and the meaning of love. But I don't think I have ever been in that sort of relationship before.Jung Hae InQ. Did the drama change your perspective on love?
A. It is more like the meaning of love has changed itself. I realized that woman and man should communicate much more often. You might think that you know everything about him/her, but that might not be the case. 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food' made me wonder what a real relationship is, and if I had ever fell in love like that in the past. You become more mature as you age, and I'm quite looking forward to the type of relationship that I will have in the future. Jung Hae InQ. Do you read your own articles and even hate comments about you?
A. Yes, I do. I don't think it is right for you to stop listening to others just because you don't want to. If the comments made by haters are their opinion about me, then I should respect them. I simply try not to get too overwhelmed by them. This is something that I need to work on for the rest of my life.

Q. What made you think that way?
A. It naturally came to me. I think if there are people who like me, then they will also be people who don't like me. How can one be loved by everyone?
Jung Hae InQ. 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food' has successfully ended. What is next for you?
A. I'm planning to read as many scripts as possible, whether they are for films or dramas. I want to be back on screen soon.

Q. Is there any particular genre of film or drama you would like to do?
A. Not really. A genre doesn't matter as long as it is a good project that would give me the opportunity to demonstrate my acting skills.
