Lee Kwang Soo Gets Criticized for Using Inappropriate Words to Female Guests of the Show

Actor Lee Kwang Soo is being criticized for using inappropriate words to female guests of a variety show.

On May 27 episode of SBS' variety show 'Running Man', Lee Kwang Soo used inappropriate words various times, and the public criticized his word choice.

From the episode, various female artists from K-pop girl groups joined the show as special guests, and Lee Kwang Soo aggressively responded to them.

In the beginning of the episode, Lee Kwang Soo, for instance, pointed at Jooe of K-pop girl group MOMOLAND, who extremely nervous to be on the show, and said, "She must have anxiety disorder!".Moreover, when the guests and cast members of the show talked about the upcoming competition, Lee Kwang Soo yelled at them, saying, "Just shut up everyone! What's so important now?".But on top of any other words, the public was upset with his usage of a word when he was talking to Hye Jeong from K-pop girl group AOA.

When the cast members and guests had to deceive each other for a game, Lee Kwang Soo doubted his partner Hye Jeong and called her a 'gold digger'.Although the staff of the show did not put the same word in the subtitles, Lee Kwang Soo's saying of the word 'gold digger' could be clearly heard from the episode.

In the aftermath of Lee Kwang Soo's usage of the word, he constantly doubted his partner to be the shrewd, sneaky girl who deceives men for a specific purpose.Some people responded to his usage of offensive words, saying, "That was too much.", "I'm very upset with his word choice!", "He must apologize."

Yet some people argued that people overreact to Lee Kwang Soo's behavior, saying, "It was just for the show.", "He was trying to be funny.", "Don't exaggerate what he said.", and many more.
