Wanna One's Hwang Min Hyun Talks About Revealing His Abs During Concert

K-pop boy group Wanna One's Hwang Min Hyun has surprised his fans with his impressive solo performance during concert.

During the second day of the group's concert on June 2, Hwang Min Hyun shocked fans with a shirtless solo dance performance.

As he didn't unveil his solo performance on the first day, his sensational performance went viral online.
In regard to his performance, Hwang Min Hyun shared his words during the press conference held on June 3.

He broached, "I started working out three months ago in order to show a different side of myself at the concert. I secretly prepared it without telling it to my fans. Even when our fans asked me about my abs during fan signing events, I told them that I still had a 'baby tummy'."

He continued, "I wanted to reveal it for the first time at the concert, so I was devastated when it accidentally revealed during a recent event.", referring to the moment when his shirt flew up while performing at an outdoor event on May 26.
Hwang Min Hyun also explained why he didn't reveal his solo performance on the first day of the concert.

He said, "The blindfold for the performance didn't come out as expected, so I was worried that I would make a mistake during my performance. I felt so apologetic, but I was unable to show it to our fans without confidence."

Meanwhile, Wanna One is set to release a special album '1÷χ=1 (UNDIVIDED)' today and is scheduled to hold 2-week of domestic promotions until its overseas world tour concerts.
