Billboard & Forbes Highlight TVXQ!'s Impressive Achievement in Japan
Two popular American magazines Billboard and Forbes highlighted K-pop boy group TVXQ!'s recent impressive achievement in Japan.
 
From June 8 until 10, TVXQ! held its concerts '東方神起 LIVE TOUR~Begin Again~Special Edition in NISSAN STADIUM' at Nissan Stadium.

TVXQ! began its 'Begin Again' tour in Japan in November 2017, and held 17 different shows performing for approximately 780,000 fans.TVXQ!The grand finale of the tour took place at Nissan Stadium, which is known to be the largest stadium in Japan.

All 220,000 tickets were sold out immediately, and TVXQ! has attracted in total of approximately one million concertgoers to the group's 'Begin Again' tour in Japan.TVXQ!The group has become the first foreign act to ever sell that many tickets during a single Japanese tour.

The last Korean act to come close to seeing one million ticket sales was another boy group BIGBANG. 

The group's 2015-2016 'MADE' tour saw over 911,000 concertgoers in attendance.TVXQ!Recently, Billboard and Forbes featured articles putting an emphasis on TVXQ!'s greatness and huge success in Japan.

Billboard said, "In the presence of thousands of diehard fans who came from all across Asia despite the rainy forecast, TVXQ! reminded everyone why they are considered the best live performers of K-pop and have kept such loyal fans across the world."TVXQ!They added, "Over the sea of red, T-shaped glow sticks, what the duo managed to pull off during the three-day event was not just impressive―it was a power play to further show K-pop as a cultural tour-de-force. Yet still, this particularly imperial moment likely will not be able to be topped by any K-pop artist for a long time coming to confirm TVXQ!'s truly legendary status."TVXQ!Forbes also noted, "TVXQ! have once again lived up to the meaning of their name: the Rising Gods of the East. The high ticket sales during the Begin Again tour reaffirmed TVXQ!'s place as one of the most popular foreign acts in Japan following their hiatus while the members served in South Korea's military. It came amid renewed interest in K-pop in Japan."

Meanwhile, TVXQ! will be releasing a new Japanese single on July 5, and start touring in Japan again in September.
