EXO's Huge Fan Battling with Cancer Meets EXO

K-pop boy group EXO made one EXO-L(the name of EXO's fan club)'s wish come true by meeting her backstage.

On June 23, EXO met a fan named Michelle Parenteau backstage at '2018 Lotte Family Concert'.

'2018 Lotte Family Concert' took place at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, and she flew all the way from California to meet EXO.Michelle is 17 years old, who has been battling with cancer since 2015.

She had her tumor removed in 2015, and she said EXO's music gave her strength while fighting cancer.

EXO's music physically and mentally comforted her, and Michelle expressed her strong desire to personally thank the group.In March, Michelle's story was delivered to EXO's management agency SM Entertainment via Make-A-Wish Korea.

With their help, she got to meet her favorite K-pop group.Before EXO went on stage to perform at '2018 Lotte Family Concert', Michelle visited the group's waiting room.

EXO members warmly welcomed her, and she expressed her gratitude to each one of them.

She said, "I was able to go through a tough time due to EXO. I'm really happy that I got to meet and thank the members."Meanwhile, EXO members are all actively promoting individually as a cast in dramas, films, and variety shows at the moment.
