UNI.T Yang Jiwon Talks About the Date She Went on with Eric Nam in the Past

K-pop project girl group UNI.T's member Yang Jiwon talked about the time when she thought solo artist Eric Nam asked her out in the past.
On June 26 episode of KBS' quiz show '1 vs. 100', Eric Nam and Yang Jiwon joined the show to solve some questions.
In between questions, Yang Jiwon shared an old story of when she thought she was going on a date with Eric Nam.Yang Jiwon said, "When I was a trainee, Eric joined the management agency I was in. He was super nice, and he had a sweet voice. He had no sense of style at that time. He used to dress like a middle-aged man going hiking. Even then, he was totally my type of guy. We exchanged our phone number and became close."She continued, "Then, one day, Eric asked me if I wanted to go out for a cup of coffee. I got so excited and nervous, because I thought he had asked me out."
She added, "When I arrived at the coffee shop, he was with about 30 other people. I was really disappointed."Eric Nam laughed awkwardly and explained, "I don't exactly remember what I said to Jiwon, but people in the States generally think the best way to get to know each other is to hang out with a group of friends."
Meanwhile, Eric Nam is currently on a concert tour 'Honestly' in North America, and UNI.T has just ended its promotion for the group's debut song 'No More' released on May 18.
