NCT LUCAS Reveals Why He Was Not Popular Among Girls Before Debut

K-pop boy group NCT's member LUCAS demonstrated his endless confidence in his appearance.

On September 20 episode of KBS' variety show 'Happy Together 3', LUCAS made a guest appearance.

As this was a special episode in which good-looking guests were invited, one of the hosts Yu Jae Seok asked, "LUCAS, do you think you qualify as a guest for this episode?"

LUCAS answered right away, "Yes, definitely. I think I'm good-looking and I have a nice body as well."One other host Jeon Hyun Moo asked, "Do you think you are the most good-looking member of NCT? How about within your management agency SM Entertainment?"

Without hesitation, LUCAS responded, "It's me, of course. I'm the best-looking member of NCT, and also the best-looking person at SM Entertainment."Everyone wowed at LUCAS' confidence, and continued asking him questions regarding his looks.

Yu Jae Seok said, "I heard that you are very into your own looks."

LUCAS replied, "Yes, that is true. I love checking myself out in the mirror. For instance, when I get make-up done, I look at myself in the mirror and think, 'Wow, how could someone be this gorgeous?'. Also, I look at my muscles in the mirror when I get out of the shower, and give myself the thumbs up."Then, the production crew showed past pictures of LUCAS where he looked just as handsome as he is now.

While the hosts and other guests were gasping at his great looks, LUCAS made an interesting remark, "But I wasn't popular when I was young. Girls didn't like me."

With surprised eyes, they all asked, "Why?", and he answered, "It was because I was too good-looking."They burst into laughter then commented, "I have so much respect for this guy. You might think this way, but no one really says it aloud."

They went on, "Well, LUCAS' great appearance may have made him look unapproachable."

Meanwhile, NCT recently confirmed its comeback as a sub-unit NCT 127 on October 12.
