Red Velvet IRENE Finds Her Hidden Talent in Archery and Wins the Bet!

K-pop girl group Red Velvet member IRENE scored perfect 10 in archery tournament.

On September 26 episode of MBC's holiday special variety show 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships', K-pop girl group gugudan's SEJEONG, HANA, MINA and Red velvet's IRENE, WENDY, and YERI made it to the Women's Team Archery Final.
Before the match, the host Jeon Hyun Moo made a bet and said, "I will buy every player a fried chicken if any of the player in archery final scores a perfect 10."

Then he added, "The best part about this whole contest was to see someone getting a perfect 10. But unfortunately, we don't have much of those these days. That's why I'm doing this."
Starting from SEJEONG and MINA scoring 9 on average, the game was going onwards and upwards.

Even after WENDY didn't get any point on her third trial and put her team in a vulnerable situation, the team was able to catch up immediately thanks to IRENE.
At seventh trial, IRENE finally scored perfect 10. The minute she held the bow, she shot perfect 10 and broke the camera lens which was located inside the target.
Lee Teuk and NAYEON, who were acting as a sports commentator made everyone burst into laughter by saying, "It's a perfect 10. I clearly heard the lens shattering. Now, Jeon Hyun Moo is in big trouble."

Jeon Hyun Moo commented, "Deal is a deal. I'll buy everyone a fried chicken," and all the K-pop artists on the site expressed their joy while chanting the name Jeon Hyun Moo.

Meanwhile, gugudan managed to win a gold medal after a tight match with Red Velvet.
