On October 23, a press conference for KBS W's upcoming drama 'At That Moment When Time Stops' (literal translation) was held in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Kim Hyun Joong attended the press conference as the lead of the drama, but he seemed nervous throughout the event.
After a short pause, he said, "The time in the military was very tough for me. The hardest thing was that I wasn't able to do anything about the things that were going on outside of my military life."
He went on, "It wasn't always tough though. After I got used to the military life, I was able to utilize the time in the military to solely use it for myself; I tried to find the best way for me to get back on track after discharging from the military."
Kim Hyun Joong explained that as he began opening himself to the world, he was able to realize there were people still supporting him, which gave him courage to start doing music and acting again.
Lastly, Kim Hyun Joong mentioned how he feels nowadays, "These days, I just wish for me to have a happy day. I try to enjoy life by living the moment."
Last year, he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol as well.
Meanwhile, 'At That Moment When Time Stops' is scheduled to air its first episode on October 24.
