K-pop artist SOYA rose from the ashes like a majestic phoenix.
On October 21 episode of SBS 'Inkigayo', SOYA made it pretty clear that she wants to be remembered as an artist, not Kim Jong-kook's nephew.
Earlier this year, SOYA announced that she will be launching a year-long project, releasing four albums in 2018, and will be utilizing her initials to come up with the concepts for each album.
With her first album 'SHOW' released in January, the second album 'OASIS' in April, and the third album 'Y-shirt' in July, SOYA is planning on wrapping up this entire project with her latest album 'Artist' released on October 17.
SOYA worked twice as hard to present this album to the public since this was her first time to release four mini albums in a row.
Also, according to SOYA, she wanted to encourage the public to pursue their dreams and be their internal motivation because she experienced it herself that music can be a quite powerful tool.
Fortunately, SOYA not only achieved her goals, but also succeeded in proving her quality as a superb artist with her newest stage.
