Wanna One Lee Dae Hwi to Compose a Ballad Song for Labelmate Kang Min Hee

It looks like K-pop boy group Wanna One's member Lee Dae Hwi is exploring the world of composing quite seriously.

On October 24, Lee Dae Hwi's management agency BRANDNEW MUSIC announced that Kang Min Hee will release a new single composed by Lee Dae Hwi and given to her as a gift.

Over the past few years, Kang Min Hee received a lot of love thanks to the tracks she released with Verbal Jint and San E.
Especially, her captivating voice in Verbal Jint's 'Good Start' and San E's 'What's Wrong With Me', mesmerized many audiences.

For this reason, the combination of a talented vocalist and a beloved boy group member/composer is garnering people's attention.
This is not the first time for Lee Dae Hwi to show off his stellar composing skills.

Back in 2017, when he singed up for Mnet's survival audition program 'Produce 101 Season 2', Lee Dae Hwi surprised the public with the track 'HOLLYWOOD' which he wrote and composed himself.
It seems that the release of Kang Min Hee's new single could not have come at a better time since Lee Dae Hwi's fans have been looking forward to his next project for quite a while now.

BRANDNEW MUSIC stated, "Lee Dae Hwi called Rhymer, the head of our agency, and told him that he wants to give this track to Kang Min Hee since he had always admired her work."
The agency added, "All the staffs were startled when they first heard the song because the quality of the track was not something of a rookie writer, and he did a splendid job even though it was his first time composing a ballad song. With this song, the listeners can have a taste of Kang Min Hee's improved vocal skills and discover the new side of Lee Dae Hwi. Please look forward to their track."

Meanwhile, Kang Min Hee's new single 'Remember Me' will be released on October 26 at 12PM KST.
