K-pop boy group BTS has reached another milestone in K-pop history with its 'DNA' music video.
On April 15 at 3:23 AM KST, BTS' 'DNA' music video reached 700 million views on YouTube.
'DNA' is the title track of BTS' mini album 'LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her', which was released on September 18, 2017, at 6PM KST.
Therefore, the music video hit 700 million views in approximately 1 year, 6 months, 27 days, and a little over 9 hours after the release.
This groundbreaking record is the first one for a K-pop boy group to do so―the only K-pop artists who have done so are girl group BLACKPINK with 'DDU-DU DDU-DU', and PSY with 'Gangnam Style'.
Meanwhile, BTS is ready to sweep the popular music scene once again with the latest mini album 'MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA' led by the title track 'Boy With Luv'.
