It seems like MINA, SANA, and MOMO of K-pop girl group TWICE are about to make their subunit debut soon.
On September 8, one fan spotted a trademark for 'MISAMO' online.
According to the screenshot of the fan, TWICE's management agency JYP Entertainment registered for the approval.
'MISAMO' is a term that TWICE's fans―ONCE―commonly use when they call the group's three Japanese members: MINA, SANA, and MOMO.
Fans have continuously been asking for the three members' subunit debut, so the new trademark registration immediately went viral on various online K-pop communities.
The comments include, "Maybe for the Japanese market? I hope they promote in Korea, too.", "I can't believe that it's finally happening.", "I wonder what their concept will be. They have so different charms.", and more.
Meanwhile, no TWICE members except for NAYEON made their solo or subunit debut yet.
