Korean-Japanese MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter Choo Sung Hoon shared that his daughter Choo Sa Rang has forgotten a lot of Korean now.
On September 23, Choo Sung Hoon and Choo Sa Rang participated in an online press conference for an upcoming traveling show 'Follow Me Now' (literal translation), which they featured in together.
During the press conference, Choo Sung Hoon told why they decided to join 'Follow Me Now'.
Choo Sung Hoon said, "I definitely did worry about our appearance, but Sa Rang has to go back to school and we have to travel to and from Japan a lot from now on."
He continued, "Sa Rang has forgotten much of Korean. Even though I speak to her in Korean, she doesn't have many Korean friends, so... It would make me really happy if she started learning Korean again and learning Korean cultures, you know."
He resumed, "I just love spending time with my daughter. That was the main reason. When I asked Sa Rang, she said she would like to be in it. She was excited that we were going to Hawaii."
Following his talk, Choo Sa Rang was asked whether she remembers appearing on 'The Return of Superman' when she was young.
Choo Sa Rang thought for a little while, then answered, "I think I remember the part where my dad asked, 'Who wants bananas?' But only a bit of it."
Choo Sung Hoon added, "She's probably remembering it because that particular part went around online then, and you can still find so much of that part online. Thank you again for the great love you've given to us back then."
Choo Sa Rang led 'The Return of Superman' from 2013, which was the time when it was a pilot show, until 2017.
At that time, the show covered a sweet father-daughter relationship, and their family snatched the attention of many then.
Born in October 2011, Choo Sa Rang is almost 11 years old now.
The family goes back and forth Japan, Korea and the United States; their main home is in Hawaii.
