Actress Han Ga In revealed that her daughter told her she was not pretty enough to be Venus.
On October 1 episode of MBN's television show 'Classical Mythology: The Private Lives of Gods/Goddesses' (literal translation), Han Ga In shared an interesting and funny story.
During the talk, Han Ga In said, "My daughter saw me going through the script for this show today, and asked where I was going."
She continued, "I told her, 'I'm going to play the role of goddess today.' Then, she was like, 'What? A goddess? Are you Venus then?' So, I said that I was Venus today."
Then, the actress laughed and commented, "But her response was, 'No, mom. But you are not pretty enough to be Venus!' I was completely taken aback by her words."
She resumed, "My daughter told me that I shouldn't be Venus. I should be someone like Hestia, and just watch the brazier."
After that, Han Ga In explained that her daughter is a huge fan of classical mythology.
Han Ga In stated, "My daughter's only seven years old (Korean age), but she knew exactly who those goddesses were. I thought to myself, 'I've really got to learn classical mythology properly, and also study it hard.'"
She added, "Ever since like she was five, she's read classical mythology. She absolutely loves reading it; she's a big fan."
Han Ga In married actor Yeon Jung Hoon in May 2005.
The couple have two children together; their daughter was born in April 2016, and a son in May 2019.
