Comedian Park Soo Hong Taken to Hospital After Being Assaulted by His Father

Comedian Park Soo Hong was transported to the hospital after being assaulted by his own father.

On October 4, Park Soo Hong's legal representative shared, "While undergoing a cross-examination by the prosecution, Park Soo Hong was assaulted and threatened by his father. He has now been taken to the emergency room."
Park Soo Hong was scheduled to attend a cross-examination session at 10AM KST today, with his older brother.

Park Soo Hong's older brother was arrested in September on charges of embezzling 11.6 billion won (approximately 8.1 million dollars) from Park.

During the cross-examination session, Park Soo Hong's father, and his sister-in-law Lee were also present as witnesses.
According to the legal representative of Park, his father attacked him multiple times; which included kicking him and delivering verbal threats to him.

The representative also informed that Park Soo Hong wore a flak jacket to the session, just in case his family members attack him, including, "I will st*b you with a knife."

After the incident, Park Soo Hong was transferred to the emergency room of a nearby hospital after fainting due to severe stress and shock.

Reports say that the degrees of his injuries are not serious.
