Byul Gives an Update on Her Daughter's Rare Disease
Singer Byul, who recently opened up about her daughter's diagnosis with a rare disease, gave an update on her child's condition.

Previously in September, Byul revealed that her daughter Song-yi was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that happens when one's immune system attacks the body's nerves, potentially causing muscle weakness, reflex loss, and body numbness.

Along with Song-yi's photo, Byul wrote, "Thank you for sending love in the comments. I read every single one of them, and they made me feel better."

She explained, "As you can see, Song-yi is getting healthier day by day. You can't even tell she was sick."

Byul then continued to express her gratitude, saying, "I think we don't realize how little words of comfort can become a big strength and make others stand on their feet again. I'll live on spreading the love that I received."

She concluded her post by saying, "If someone in need of comforting words is reading this post, I hope my heart could reach you. I wish you to have a happy day today."
