On October 8, an annual awards ceremony 'The Fact Music Awards' took place at KSPO DOME, Seoul.
At this event, BTS took in total of seven awards home, including the grand prize Daesang, which the group received for the fifth consecutive year.
When BTS won Daesang, RM said, "I feel like it's been a long time since we've come to an event like this. I feel bad, because there are lots of artists here today, but I don't know whether we have been more active in the industry and released better music this year than them."
He continued, "Just like we always do, we would like to let everything we have in our hearts out, but we're kind of in a situation now where we can't do that. There honestly are many things that we want to say..."
He went on, "Soon enough though, a lot of things will get sorted out and we will be able to go back to our true selves that we've always been. But this is all I will say for today."
RM commented, "We'll show you the stuff that we're the best at at Busan concert next week, so get ready for that. We're practicing for it every day these days."
JIMIN added, "Everyone, I know that we're not very clearly showing you guys anything at the moment, but the members and I are constantly discussing an important matter."
He resumed, "We never take your love and support lightly; we're always thinking about it and feel grateful for it."
Since then, they have been taking some time off from work, only attending official events time to time.
Currently, there is also a sharp discussion going on in the politics over whether BTS members should be given military exemption; JIN faces enlistment early next year after turning 30 in December.
