Minhwan Reminisces About the Time When He Found Out Yulhee Was Pregnant

K-pop band FTISLAND's Minhwan talked about her marriage life with his wife Yulhee.

On October 12 episode of MBC's talk show 'Radio Star', Minhwan made a guest appearance alongside Sam Hammington, Jason, Jang Dong-min, and Jo Choong-hyun.
During the show, Minhwan reminisced about Yulhee's first pregnancy, when the two were in their early twenties and not married.

Minwhan said, "I made my debut really early. I became a trainee when I was in elementary school, and debuted in ninth grade. Since I started my career at such a young age, I felt like no one was on my side. So I thought that I had to make a significant other, and starting a family quickly."
He continued, "Yulhee was only 21 years old at the time of her first pregnancy. When we went to tell her parents, I even thought, 'I would rather be hit. If they hit me, I might feel relieved.'"

He explained, "Instead, her father said very calmly, 'Do you think you can live well? Can you move forward while dealing with everything?' So I told him, 'I will live diligently. Please trust me.'"
Minhwan and Yulhee are parents of three children, a son named Jae-yul and twins Ah-yoon and Ah-rin.

The couple made their relationship public in September 2017, and Yulhee left her group LABOUM a few months later.

In May 2018, they announced their plans to get married and give birth to their first child.
