TWICE JIHYO Reveals How She Got Close With BLACKPINK LISA & (G)I-DLE MINNIE

JIHYO of K-pop girl group TWICE revealed how she became friends with another girl groups BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE's LISA and MINNIE.
On October 9, fashion magazine GQ Korea dropped a interview video of JIHYO on their official YouTube channel.
In the video, JIHYO shared her answers to various questions while playing mini-golf. One of the questions was, "How did you get close to TWICE's MINA, BLACKPINK's LISA and (G)I-DLE's MINNIE?"
To this, JIHYO laughed and pointed out that MINA is her fellow member. JIHYO said, "I became close to LISA early on, right after my debut. We naturally became close as we are the same age."
She explained, "LISA introduced me to MINNIE, her closest celebrity friend as she was also from Thailand. I then became close to other (G)I-DLE members thanks to MINNIE." Back in June, MINNIE shared photos of herself taken with LISA, JIHYO and MINA at a photo booth.
As their friendship was totally unexpected among fans, many asked how they became close to each others. At the time, JIHYO shared, "We've been friends for quite a while, but I guess ONCEs (TWICE's fans) were more surprised as I didn't really have a chance to talk about it."
