Lee Hanee Shares Why YG Ent. Thought She Did Not Fit Well with the Members of 2NE1
Actress Lee Hanee shared that YG Entertainment used to believe she did not balance well with the members of disbanded girl group 2NE1 when she trained with them, and explained why they thought that way.

On November 28, Lee Hanee's recent interview with CBS was released online.

During her interview, Lee Hanee walked through the journey of her entry into show business.
Lee HaneeLee Hanee started off by telling the hosts about her days as a K-pop trainee, "Back in the day, I was a graduate student. At the same time as being a graduate student, I was a trainee at YG Entertainment. During the day, I would be a quiet student at university, studying gayageum (Korean traditional string instrument), but I was no longer that person in the evening as soon as I entered the YG Entertainment building."

The actress continued, "My training at YG Entertainment began in the evening, and ended in the middle of the night. After training, I slept for a bit, then woke up early in the morning for school. I only got a few hours of sleep every day. I repeated this over and over, for years."

She shyly added, "I hope I don't surprise you too much by saying this, but I was part of the pre-debut 2NE1 team at YG Entertainment. I trained with Park Bom, Minzy and DARA. CL joined YG Entertainment following my departure."
Lee HaneeHer reveal did surprise the hosts; gasping, one of the hosts asked, "For real?! Whoa! But aren't K-pop trainees usually quite young? You said you were in graduate school at that time, which means you were at least in your mid-20s, right?"

Lee Hanee chuckled, then commented, "Yeah, you're totally right. I was the oldest trainee at the agency. It's probably hard for you to picture me as 2NE1, I know, I know. It's difficult for me too."

She laughingly resumed, "But YG Entertainment did also think like, 'She's too tall among them. What shall we do?'"
Lee HaneePreviously, Lee Hanee told the media that she trained at YG Entertainment for two and a half years before her debut as Miss Korea.
